Company Participation in Preserving Traditions and Cultural Heritage
Canon Hi-Tech Thailand places great importance on promoting and preserving Thai traditions and cultural heritage. Over the years, the company has consistently organized annual activities aligned with Thai cultural practices, including:
● Merit-making ceremonies during Buddhist Lent and New Year celebrations, aimed at bringing good fortune to employees and the organization. Monks are invited to perform religious rituals at the head office. In addition, the company holds a Candle Offering Ceremony, presenting Lent candles and traditional offerings to monks, symbolizing the illumination of wisdom and the continuation of Buddhist customs.
● Loy Krathong Festival, organized to preserve Thai traditions. Employees participate in crafting eco-friendly krathongs, with creative krathong contests and recreational activities that promote enjoyment and cultural appreciation.
● Buddha bathing and Songkran water blessing ceremony, where employees respectfully pour water over the hands of senior executives to seek blessings. This activity helps preserve Thai New Year customs and strengthens intergenerational relationships within the organization.
● Thai costume day and cultural exhibitions, held on special occasions such as Thai Heritage Conservation Day or religious holidays, allowing employees to learn about and engage in the preservation of national identity.
